Engineering Lecturer – FE Vocational Courses

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer to deliver Further Education vocational engineering courses at Levels 1, 2, 3 and T‑Level. You will join a supportive team at Kingston College, helping students achieve outstanding results in electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Electrical/Electronic Engineering across Level 1, 2, 3 and T‑Level programmes.
• Deliver elements of BTEC Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering.
• Develop and implement teaching schemes, assessment schedules and coursework.
• Support the Head of Section in monitoring student progress and target grades.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow teaching staff.

Required profile

• Degree level (or higher) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience teaching in UK Further Education, including BTEC Level 3 and T‑Levels.
• Recent, relevant CPD and awareness of academic quality standards.
• Strong organisational, planning and administrative abilities.
