About the role
Oscar Technology is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead high‑performing engineering teams in London. You will bridge product, people and technology, ensuring teams stay focused, supported and unblocked while delivering software at scale.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and grow engineering teams, providing technical oversight and architectural guidance.
- Drive delivery in cloud environments, primarily Azure‑based platforms.
- Shape how software is built and shipped, emphasizing micro‑services and distributed architectures.
- Facilitate Agile delivery using Scrum and Kanban practices.
- Hire, coach and retain talent, fostering a collaborative culture.
Required profile
- Proven experience in engineering leadership and team management.
- Strong background in Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban).
- Demonstrated ability to hire, coach and retain engineers.
