Engineering Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager with an electrical or electronics background to lead a skilled engineering team in a modern manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for driving engineering performance, overseeing maintenance activities, and contributing to continuous improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers in a manufacturing environment.
• Manage planned preventative maintenance, breakdowns and engineering projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure high health & safety standards.
• Oversee the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment, including electrical systems, motors, pumps and other industrial assets.

Required profile

• Proven engineering management or supervisory experience within a manufacturing setting (essential).
• Background in electrical or electronics engineering.
• Ability to work on‑site in Sutton or surrounding South London areas.
