Engineering Stores Coordinator

About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a strong Engineering Stores Coordinator to join a well‑established, fast‑paced food manufacturing site. The role is ideal for someone with stores/stock control experience who enjoys being hands‑on, organised and proactive, supporting engineering by ensuring spares availability and keeping the stores running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Managing stock levels, cycle counts and monthly stock takes
• Raising purchase orders and working with suppliers/OEMs to obtain best value
• Booking in, checking, and issuing parts/spares accurately
• Using a CMMS/engineering system to log and allocate parts and stock items

Required profile

• Experience working in a stores/warehouse environment with stock control
• Understanding of engineering terminology and common components/spares
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience using a CMMS or similar engineering inventory system
