Engineering Team Leader – Day Shifts (Continental)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join our North Lanarkshire site, easily commutable from Glasgow and the central belt. You will lead a dedicated engineering team within a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment, driving maintenance excellence and supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop engineering team members.
• Plan, initiate and manage maintenance tasks to ensure reliable machinery operation.
• Promote a safety‑first culture and enforce health & safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to optimise equipment performance.
• Document maintenance activities and track equipment performance for improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an engineering leadership role, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in a production setting.
• Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to engineering operations.
