Engineering Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

Delta Hotels by Marriott in Bristol City Centre is looking for an Engineering Technician to join its dynamic engineering team. You will be responsible for maintaining the hotel’s facilities, ensuring guests enjoy a safe and comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, painting, mechanical work and general repairs.
• Liaise with all departments and managers to coordinate maintenance and repair work.
• Organise and prioritise work schedules to minimise disruption to guests.
• Follow health, safety and security policies to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Address and resolve maintenance issues promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Proactive attitude with strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and be on call when required.
