English Graduate Teaching Assistant (Term‑Time Full‑Time)

About the role

We are partnering with a welcoming school in Bracknell to offer a term‑time, full‑time Teaching Assistant position for recent English graduates. The role starts in September 2026 and provides hands‑on classroom experience, supporting teachers and helping pupils improve their English skills.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑to‑one and small‑group support during English lessons.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Help pupils understand key concepts, complete work and develop confidence.
• Provide additional assistance for learners with Special Educational Needs or other learning requirements.
• Prepare and adapt learning resources for differentiated instruction.
• Monitor student progress and give feedback to teaching staff.

Required profile

• Degree in English or a closely related subject.
• Genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
• Excellent communication and the ability to explain ideas clearly.
• Patience, empathy and a proactive, positive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a school team.
• Willingness to commute to Bracknell.
