English Supply Teacher – Oldham & Rochdale

About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking qualified English teachers for flexible supply assignments in schools across Oldham and Rochdale, starting September 2026. These short‑term roles allow you to deliver full lessons without the burden of planning or marking outside classroom time.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned English lessons to pupils in primary or secondary schools on a supply basis.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Complete required administrative tasks such as attendance registers at the end of each day.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Relevant teaching experience or recent graduate status.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons.
