English Teacher – Daily Supply (KS3/KS4)

About the role
Reed Education is looking for an experienced English Teacher to join schools in Brighton on a daily or long‑term supply basis. The role involves delivering the English curriculum to KS3 and KS4 students and supporting their progress.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes well‑being.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings and school events.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum.
Required profile
- Valid teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or QTLS).
- Proven experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 & KS4).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Current DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
