English Teacher – ESL in China

About the role

TEFL UK is seeking enthusiastic English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers to join its network of schools across China, including major cities such as Shanghai and Beijing. You will live and work abroad for at least 12 months, delivering engaging lessons to students aged 3‑16.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic English lessons using a multimedia curriculum.
• Create an immersive classroom environment with cultural activities.
• Monitor student progress and provide personalized feedback.
• Utilise provided teaching materials and resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Clean background check.
• Willingness to relocate to China for a minimum of one year.

Required skills

• Strong classroom management.
• Ability to adapt lessons for varied age groups.
