English Teacher – Full‑Time Long‑Term Position

About the role

Reed Education is partnering with a Good‑rated secondary school in Cambridgeshire to recruit a passionate English Teacher. The role starts in September 2026 and offers a full‑time, long‑term placement within a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Create an inclusive classroom that encourages participation.
• Assess, monitor and record student progress accurately.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high behaviour standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
