About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join our well‑established Alternative Provision in Milton Keynes. The role starts in September and offers a long‑term, full‑time contract with pay to scale from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver English lessons to small, mixed‑ability classes.
- Implement a personalised curriculum that meets each pupil’s needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing.
- Maintain high standards of classroom and behaviour management.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching English at secondary level.
- Passion for supporting young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
- Resilient, adaptable and compassionate approach.
