About the role
We are seeking a qualified English Teacher to join a top‑performing secondary school in Camberley from September 2026. The role involves delivering engaging English lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, with the option to teach KS5.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver well‑structured English lessons across the curriculum.
- Foster a love of literature and language while developing analytical and communication skills.
- Monitor, assess and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to departmental curriculum development and share best practices.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Proven experience teaching English in a UK secondary school.
- Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
- Effective classroom management and commitment to high standards.
