About the role
TEFL UK is seeking enthusiastic English teachers to deliver ESL lessons to students aged 3–16 across a network of schools in China, including major cities such as Shanghai and Beijing. This full‑time position offers a fully supported immersion experience, allowing you to live and work abroad while developing your teaching career.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dynamic English lessons using a multimedia curriculum.
- Create an immersive classroom environment with cultural activities.
- Monitor student progress and provide individualized feedback.
- Utilise provided teaching materials and resources without additional preparation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Clean background check and ability to obtain a Chinese work visa.
- Willingness to commit to at least 12 months abroad.
- TEFL certification (or willingness to obtain sponsorship).
Required skills
- Strong command of English language.
- Basic classroom management abilities.
