English Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher to join our school in Camberley from September 2026. You will teach KS3 and KS4 pupils, delivering engaging lessons that inspire confidence and improve literacy.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess English lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
• Use interactive and innovative teaching methods, including Smartboard technology.
• Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum development and create supporting materials.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings and whole‑school training events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching at secondary school level.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
