English Teacher – KS3/KS4 (Full‑time)

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher to join our secondary school in Woking from September 2026. You will teach KS3 and KS4 students, delivering engaging lessons that develop their confidence and literacy.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver English lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes with enthusiasm and clarity.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons and coursework to monitor student progress.
- Use interactive and innovative teaching methods, including Smartboard technology.
- Contribute to curriculum development and create supporting teaching materials.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings and whole‑school training events.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Teaching experience at secondary school level (English or Science as stated).
- Strong classroom management and ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
