About the role
We are seeking a dedicated English teacher for a full‑time position at a welcoming secondary school in the Brades area of Sandwell. The role involves teaching English language and literature to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, with occasional Humanities support.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Teach a small amount of KS3 Humanities (History or Geography) as required.
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet diverse learner needs.
- Monitor pupil progress and implement strategies to raise attainment.
- Build strong relationships with students to support behaviour and engagement.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in English with willingness to teach some Humanities.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and raising achievement.
