About the role
Randstad Education is seeking qualified English Teachers for secondary schools across Liverpool. The role can start immediately to cover short‑term gaps or begin in September 2026 for the new academic year, offering flexibility for candidates.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE).
- Mark student work, provide constructive feedback and monitor progress.
- Maintain a safe, positive classroom environment using effective behaviour management strategies.
- Collaborate with the English department to share resources and support school initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and enrolment on the Update Service.
