About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated English Teacher for a secondary school in Barnet, London. The role focuses on delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils within a supportive English department.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver exciting English lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in parents' evenings and departmental meetings.
- Maintain safeguarding standards and follow school policies.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year teaching experience in the UK.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
