English Teacher – Secondary School (Key Stages 3‑5)

About the role

Reeson Education is supporting a well‑regarded secondary school in Croydon to recruit a full‑time, permanent English Teacher from September 2026. The role covers teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, with the opportunity to deliver both English Language and English Literature at A‑Level.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English across KS3, KS4 and KS5, including both language and literature components.
• Plan and deliver engaging, innovative and differentiated lessons.
• Raise student attainment and monitor progress.
• Contribute to a collaborative English department and share best practices.
• Support enrichment activities, pastoral care and the wider life of the school.

Required profile

• Passionate about English with strong subject knowledge.
• Effective classroom practice and ability to inspire learners.
• Willingness to teach both language and literature at A‑Level.
• Open to experienced teachers and Early‑Career Teachers seeking a permanent role.
