About the role

We are looking for a passionate English Teacher to join a large secondary school in Redbridge, East London, starting January 2027. The role involves teaching Key Stages 3, 4 and potentially 5, delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of English.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality English lessons across KS3‑5, adapting to a range of abilities.
• Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback to support improvement.
• Contribute to curriculum development and share innovative teaching approaches.
• Participate in extra‑curricular activities and wider school community events.

Required profile

• Qualified English Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in English or a related subject.
• Proven record of strong classroom practice and student achievement.
• Enthusiastic about fostering a love of English and committed to professional development.
• Willing to engage in curriculum design and school‑wide initiatives.
