About the role

Term Time Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to deliver high‑quality lessons in a successful secondary school in Tunbridge Wells. The role is temporary with the possibility of longer‑term placement, offering flexible start dates.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons across secondary Key Stages.
• Plan and create curriculum‑led lesson materials.
• Encourage students’ interest in English language and literature.
• Monitor student progress and support academic development.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools.
• Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom control.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing.
