English Teacher – Secondary Schools (Blackpool)

About the role

Join Hays Education to teach English in secondary schools across Blackpool and surrounding areas. Flexible supply assignments are available for both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers, starting from September 2026 and throughout the academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons to secondary students.
• Plan and assess work in line with the national curriculum.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Genuine passion for education and student achievement.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
