Enterprise Account Executive – French Speaking

About the role

Sanity.io is building an AI‑powered Content Operating System and needs its first sales hire to establish a presence in France. As an Enterprise Account Executive you will sell the infrastructure that engineering teams want, own the full sales cycle, and create a local playbook from scratch.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify inbound opportunities from SDRs and marketing, quickly deciding which to pursue.
• Conduct discovery calls in French that uncover genuine business cases for switching.
• Pitch the product to developers and executives, handling pricing and negotiation of enterprise contracts that meet French procurement norms.
• Grow existing French accounts by identifying new use cases and closing follow‑on deals.
• Map stakeholder ecosystems—from CMS admins to CTOs—and keep momentum through French legal and procurement processes.
• Provide market feedback to product and leadership, and maintain accurate Salesforce records and deal documentation.
• Forecast monthly and quarterly bookings while building the pipeline that fuels them.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English; will sell in French and work internally in English.
• Proven experience closing complex, technical SaaS deals with enterprise customers, ideally in the French market.
• Comfortable speaking with developers in the morning and executives in the afternoon, in their respective languages.
• Quick learner who can absorb new product knowledge and explain it rapidly.
• Motivated by building a go‑to‑market strategy from the ground up rather than following an existing playbook.
