Enterprise Account Executive – Life Sciences

About the role

Anthropic is looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to expand adoption of its AI solutions across the life‑sciences sector in EMEA. You will use your deep knowledge of pharma, biotech and medical‑device markets to help organisations accelerate drug discovery, optimise clinical operations and bring treatments to patients faster.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans for large pharmaceutical, biotech and medical‑device companies.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior decision‑makers across R&D, IT and commercial functions.
• Partner with the HCLS Applied AI team to create compelling, life‑sciences‑specific value propositions.
• Identify, qualify and close complex enterprise deals, navigating lengthy procurement cycles.
• Monitor pipeline, market trends and competitive landscape, and feed industry requirements back to product teams.

Required profile

• 8+ years of enterprise sales experience in EMEA, with at least 5 years selling technology to large pharma, biotech or medical‑device firms.
• Proven record of exceeding quota and closing strategic, multi‑stakeholder deals.
• Deep understanding of life‑sciences R&D, clinical development, regulatory affairs and digital transformation.
• Established relationships with senior executives in major pharma and biotech organisations.
• Ability to translate technical AI capabilities into clear business ROI for life‑sciences customers.

• On‑target earnings (OTE) of £280,000 – £330,000 per year.
