Enterprise Account Manager

About the role

As an Account Manager at Checkout.com you will own the long‑term roadmap for a portfolio of enterprise merchants, driving strategic growth and delivering value‑based payment solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor to C‑suite stakeholders and collaborate across product, engineering and legal teams to shape our roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a 12‑18 month strategic plan to increase revenue and integrate Checkout into top‑tier enterprise clients.
• Serve as a respected payment consultant, leading QBRs and translating performance data into win‑win commercial stories for merchants.
• Negotiate complex contracts and renewals, crafting innovative commercial models and owning the commercial outcome.
• Utilise data‑driven, value‑based selling to provide metric‑focused insights and confidence to merchants.
• Champion the merchant’s voice internally, influencing product and engineering road‑maps based on client needs.
• Mentor junior account managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 6+ years of B2B account or relationship management experience in FinTech or payments.
• Strategic problem‑solver with strong project‑management capabilities.
• Deep understanding of current e‑commerce and payments technologies, players and trends.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and balance multiple opportunities.
• Proven track record of thriving in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field; fluent English.
