Enterprise Architect – Lead EA Activities

About the role

AVEVA is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead and support enterprise architecture activities that shape business‑driven and technology‑driven solutions. You will work across London and Cambridge, guiding the design of applications, data, and technology platforms to align with the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Own the current‑state architecture and define the future‑state vision for applications, data, and technology platforms.
• Evaluate and rationalise architectural solutions against AVEVA’s strategic roadmap.
• Advise stakeholders on emerging technologies and recommend solutions that support business objectives.
• Analyse existing applications, integrations, and platforms, identify technical debt, and propose improvement plans.
• Collaborate with business leaders, IT domain heads, and development teams to ensure decisions are well‑grounded and aligned with the target architecture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture, preferably in large‑scale industrial or software environments.
• Strong consulting mindset with the ability to translate strategic vision into actionable designs.
• Excellent communication skills to inspire trust and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Change‑agent attitude, comfortable working across multiple domains and levels.
