Enterprise Risk & Controls Specialist – UK

About the role

The Enterprise Risk & Controls Specialist supports the implementation, management and development of Hyundai Capital UK’s Enterprise Risk Management and Control Assurance frameworks. Working within an FCA‑regulated environment, the role embeds governance, monitors risks and strengthens the company’s risk culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, operate and enhance the enterprise risk and control assurance frameworks, maintaining risk, control, policy and QA registers.
• Assess, monitor and report on risk and control performance across all business areas, and embed risk appetite throughout the organisation.
• Produce high‑quality MI reporting, dashboards and committee documentation, supporting governance forums.
• Oversee outsourced activities, reviewing KPI and SLA performance where required.
• Identify risks, incidents and control weaknesses, ensuring alignment with FCA requirements.
• Deputise for the Head of Enterprise Risk and contribute to strategic risk‑related projects.

Required profile

• Experience in risk, controls, QA, assurance or compliance within a regulated environment.
• Practical experience working with business processes, controls, policies, procedures and reporting.
• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and supporting delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Desirable: experience in automotive finance, knowledge of FCA compliance, Consumer Duty and conduct risk.
