Enterprise Security Architect - SC Cleared

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Security Architect to join a critical national infrastructure programme in the UK. The role involves defining and maintaining enterprise‑wide security architecture across hybrid and cloud environments, ensuring secure‑by‑design delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain current and target‑state security architectures using frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA and ArchiMate.
• Design secure hybrid and cloud‑native solutions, with a strong focus on AWS.
• Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments and security design reviews.
• Define security standards, patterns and reference architectures for cloud, network, infrastructure and enterprise technology.
• Provide architecture assurance and support governance, audit and technical assurance activities.
• Advise senior stakeholders on security risks, design decisions and emerging threats.
• Collaborate across multi‑supplier delivery environments to ensure architectural alignment.

Required profile

• Significant experience as an Enterprise or Security Architect in large, complex organisations.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture principles, governance and risk management.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Excellent written communication to produce clear architecture artefacts, standards and design documentation.
