Enthusiastic SEND Teacher (ECT) – Primary & Secondary

About the role

We are looking for passionate SEND teachers to start in September across multiple primary and secondary schools in the North West. Whether you have just qualified as an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or bring solid SEND experience, you will join a supportive environment dedicated to children with complex learning, sensory, communication and physical needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead classes of pupils with complex needs in both primary and secondary settings.
• Plan and deliver personalised lessons that align with semi‑formal and formal curricula.
• Adapt teaching strategies for autism, sensory challenges, communication difficulties and learning disabilities.
• Collaborate with therapists, support staff and families to ensure a holistic approach.
• Use assessments to monitor progress and set tailored learning goals.
• Maintain a warm, welcoming and stimulating classroom atmosphere.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience or training in SEND (e.g., autism, communication difficulties, SLD, PMLD).
• Knowledge of best‑practice curriculum approaches for SEND pupils.
• Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Genuine passion for supporting young people’s development and wellbeing.
