About the role
Our client in Stroud is looking for an enthusiastic Entry Level Accounts Assistant to join their small, growing finance team. You’ll be the friendly first point of contact for client queries and help process a range of accounting tasks while enjoying a relaxed office environment (office dog included!).
Key responsibilities
- Manage the finance/accounts email inbox.
- Scan and code documents using the scanning system.
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs.
- Allocate payments and load them onto client banks.
- Issue payment remittances where required.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries.
- Post and reconcile expense claims.
- Raise sales invoices.
- Perform general administrative duties.
Required profile
- Friendly, team‑player attitude.
- Clear communication skills.
- Well‑organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Basic computer literacy, including Excel and Outlook.
