Entry Level Audio Visual (AV) Engineer

About the role

Our client is a leading provider of state‑of‑the‑art audiovisual solutions, delivering customised AV systems for a wide range of organisations. They are looking for a motivated Entry Level Audio Visual (AV) Engineer to join a dynamic team on a project basis, gaining hands‑on experience with the latest technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and racking of AV equipment such as projectors, sound systems and video‑conferencing devices.
• Handle cabling tasks, including running and terminating HDMI, Ethernet and USB cables.
• Set up and configure AV connections for televisions, monitors and other display devices.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Support senior engineers with system testing, configuration and quality assurance.
• Conduct site surveys to determine AV requirements and help design customised solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and industry trends.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of AV systems and components.
• Strong technical aptitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when needed.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
