Environmental Engineer – Remediation Projects

About the role

We are seeking an Engineer to join Biogenie Remediation UK’s growing team delivering safe, high‑quality remediation projects across the United Kingdom. The role is site‑focused, offering hands‑on experience with specialist equipment and the chance to develop a career in environmental engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of remediation projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Assist with deployment, commissioning and maintenance of specialist site equipment.
• Supervise site activities and subcontractors under guidance from senior colleagues.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to understand project delivery processes.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.

Required profile

• Some experience in remediation, enabling works, construction, civils or a related field.
• Practical, hands‑on attitude with a willingness to work outdoors as part of a team.
• Organised, able to manage tasks, priorities and site activities effectively.
• Good problem‑solving skills and proactive on‑site approach.
• Qualification in Engineering, Environmental Management or equivalent practical experience.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.

Required skills

• CSCS card (SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial or willingness to obtain).
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations (COSHH, PUWER, LOLER).
• Competent IT skills for completing site records and documentation.
