Environmental Health Officer

About the role

Bristol City Council's Public Protection Environmental Health Service is appointing a fully qualified Environmental Health Officer registered with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Registration Board. The post is full time and permanent, based in the busy city team of the Food Safety and Health and Safety teams.

The role is a mix of office, on-site and home working, and covers inspections, complaint and accident investigations and other environmental health investigations. Bristol City Council does not offer sponsorship for this role.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Environmental Health Officer registered with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Registration Board.
• Applicants must show how they meet the essential criteria in the Person Specification to be shortlisted; desirable criteria may also be considered.
