EOTAS Coordinator – SEND Education Support

About the role

The EOTAS Coordinator will support our expanding EOTAS service, delivering high‑quality alternative education packages for learners with SEND who are outside mainstream settings. This full‑time, office‑based role combines coordination, communication and sector knowledge to ensure timely, appropriate support for each learner.

Key responsibilities

• Resource and onboard SEND tutors for EOTAS placements.
• Manage compliance and safeguarding checks across all placements.
• Coordinate individualised education packages for learners with SEND.
• Build and maintain relationships with parents, tutors and local authorities.
• Arrange suitable venues for tuition and conduct risk assessments.
• Track pupil progress through weekly and termly reporting.
• Support implementation and evaluation of interventions.
• Process tuition requests from local authorities.

Required profile

• Experience in a SEND or education setting (essential).
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple cases and priorities.
• Confident communicator with stakeholder liaison skills.
• Understanding of alternative provision, EOTAS or local authority processes (advantageous).
• Background as a SEND Assistant or similar role (desirable).
