Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Advisor

About the role

We are seeking an Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Advisor to join an education organisation on a permanent basis in London. The role will initially focus on inclusive recruitment, helping the client attract and retain a diverse talent pool.

Key responsibilities

• Lead inclusive recruitment initiatives during the first 12 months.
• Build outreach partnerships with organisations to increase diverse talent.
• Develop a strong EVP and employer branding to position the client as an employer of choice.
• Embed inclusive recruitment and broader employment practices across the organisation.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert on equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Provide support and training to attract and retain diverse talent.
• Support employee wellbeing, inclusion and belonging matters.
• Contribute to the implementation of an EDI action plan and roadmap.
• Design and implement EDI initiatives and evaluate recruitment methods.
• Use data and feedback to inform decisions, identify trends and develop actionable insights.
• Create toolkits and deliver induction and staff training on inclusive practices.

Required profile

• Experience in an academic setting is desirable.
• Proven experience developing inclusive recruitment methods.
• Background in recruitment or diversity and inclusion roles.
• Availability to start in August.
