ER Case Lead – 3‑Month Contract (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced ER Case Lead for a three‑month hybrid contract in London. You will own a portfolio of employee‑relations cases, ensuring they are handled fairly, legally, and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, long‑term sickness and conduct matters.
• Document all casework accurately, maintain legal compliance and drive timely resolutions.
• Handle flexible‑working requests, changes to terms and conditions, and employee exit processes.
• Support formal processes such as redundancy consultations and TUPE transfers.
• Provide expert guidance to line managers and HR Business Partners on employment law and best practices.
• Coach stakeholders on conflict resolution, policy interpretation and procedural fairness.
• Escalate cases appropriately while retaining ownership of resolution pathways.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex ER cases in a fast‑paced, matrixed organisation.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR policy frameworks.
• Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams, including Legal and Compliance.
