ER Specialist (Education) – 3‑month contract

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join a global education provider on a three‑month contract. The role is hands‑on, fast‑paced and will support UK‑based staff across school sites and the head office.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex employee relations cases from start to finish.
- Provide pragmatic, risk‑aware advice on HR policies and ER issues.
- Support line managers and ER Advisors throughout investigations and resolutions.
- Assist with Employment Tribunal matters and help reduce claim risk.
- Play a pivotal role in an ongoing TUPE project and related restructuring activities.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a senior ER advisor, preferably within the education sector.
- CIPD qualification to at least Level 5.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best‑practice HR.
- Experience leading redundancy, restructure and TUPE processes.
- Skilled in mediation, facilitation and coaching with a track record of early dispute resolution.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a high‑volume, concurrent caseload.

What we offer
- Day rate of £280‑£300 (inside IR35).
- Fixed‑term three‑month contract.
- Remote (home‑based) working arrangement.
