Ergonomic Assessor & Installation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, hands‑on professional to join our client as an Ergonomic Assessor & Installation Engineer. Based in Salford, you will travel across the UK helping individuals create safe, comfortable and productive workspaces. The role blends customer service, problem‑solving and practical installation work.

Key responsibilities

• Visit client sites to assess workspace requirements and recommend ergonomic solutions.
• Assemble and install desks, chairs, specialist equipment and computer accessories.
• Demonstrate equipment use and provide basic guidance to users.
• Support vulnerable individuals with patience, empathy and professionalism.
• Complete accurate reports and installation records.
• Plan and manage your own daily travel schedule.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high‑quality service experience.

Required profile

• Natural caring attitude with strong empathy.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
• Physically capable of handling equipment up to 25 kg.
• Willingness to travel regularly, including occasional overnight stays.

Required skills

• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to assemble furniture and install equipment.
