ERP Deployment Manager – SAP S/4HANA

About the role

Airbus is driving a major industrial transformation, replacing legacy tools with a unified digital ecosystem centred on SAP S/4HANA. The ERP Deployment Manager will lead the deployment of the new SAP environment across global operations, starting with the integration of Belfast’s aerostructures activities following a recent M&A.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the ARP strategy and align SAP S/4HANA integration with the long‑term roadmap, working closely with the D&IM team.
• Manage end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA project delivery, ensuring quality, financial targets and risk mitigation throughout the lifecycle.
• Implement the SAP Activate methodology and enforce strict governance to minimise deviations from SAP standards.
• Coordinate senior stakeholders across functions and countries, driving cultural change towards a standard‑only SAP landscape and a NextGen operating model.

Required profile

• A relevant degree with at least 10 years of project‑management experience, or 15 years without a degree.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale, cross‑functional ERP deployments (ideally SAP S/4HANA) in a complex, multi‑site industrial environment.
• Strong change‑management capability, able to resist customisation requests and align senior stakeholders in a matrix organisation.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strategic links with the Digital team and the broader ARP programme.
