ESG Performance Executive

About the role

Acre is recruiting on behalf of London Luton Airport (LLA) for an ESG Performance Executive. The airport is committed to sustainable growth and aims to reach Net Zero by 2040, and is looking for an analytical sustainability professional to track performance, strengthen ESG reporting and turn data into insights. The role is hybrid, with 2/3 days per week in the Luton office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ESG data and non-financial information, keeping it accurate, consistent and evidence-based for internal and external reporting.
• Coordinate ESG data requests and support reporting to shareholders, the Board and other senior stakeholders.
• Support sustainability reporting frameworks and standards such as GRESB and ISO standards.
• Monitor progress against the airport's sustainability commitments, including its Net Zero 2040 ambition and decarbonisation goals.
• Build relationships with internal and external data owners to streamline processes and improve data quality.
• Produce regular sustainability performance reports, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support climate change adaptation reporting and wider sustainability projects.
• Explore ways to automate reporting and develop dashboards and performance tools.

Required profile

• Analytical and highly organised professional with experience in data management, performance reporting or analysis in an operational setting.
• A background in sustainability or environmental reporting is advantageous.
• Experience managing data subject to audit, verification or formal reporting requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, able to work across teams and engage senior colleagues.
• Right to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Numerical and analytical skills, including strong Excel capability and experience with large datasets.
• Understanding of ESG reporting frameworks and standards.
