ESOL Tutor – Part‑time Flexible Role in Reading

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated ESOL Tutor to deliver engaging English language lessons to adult and young learners in Reading. This part‑time, flexible position is ideal for someone passionate about language education and eager to help students improve their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality ESOL lessons tailored to different proficiency levels.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit varied learning styles and cultural backgrounds.
• Support learners in developing speaking, listening, reading and writing abilities.
• Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and motivating classroom environment.

Required profile

• Experience teaching ESOL to adults or young people.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Relevant teaching qualification (TESOL, TEFL, PGCE or equivalent).
• Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learner needs.
• Professionalism, reliability and a commitment to safeguarding.
