Estate Assistant – Grounds Maintenance & Cleaning

About the role

ROCASA Consulting is seeking a full‑time Estate Assistant to deliver high‑quality cleaning and grounds maintenance for a large housing provider in London. You will ensure gardens, communal areas and sites are kept to professional standards while providing a customer‑focused service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain gardens, lawns, shrubbery and communal grounds to agreed standards.
• Interact with residents and customers on site, addressing queries and concerns.
• Report repairs, fly‑tipping, graffiti and any safeguarding issues.
• Follow Health & Safety, COSHH and PPE requirements at all times.
• Operate and maintain cleaning and grounds‑keeping equipment safely.
• Keep company vehicles clean, compliant and record all work and costs accurately.

Required profile

• Proven experience in grounds maintenance across various site types.
• Knowledge of lawn, shrub and plant care.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks safely.
• Full driving licence.
• Experience with mobile devices; pesticide knowledge is desirable.
