Estate Services Cleaner – 8‑Week Temporary Role

About the role

This is an 8‑week temporary position based in Merstone, Isle of Wight, working as part of a mobile cleaning team across multiple estate sites. You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties to a high standard, including communal areas, kitchens, toilets, bathrooms and showers.
• Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Undertake manual handling tasks and transport between sites.
• Deal with challenging cleaning tasks such as removal of human or animal faeces and urine‑affected areas, following approved procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in cleaning duties, preferably in a mobile or estate environment.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Reliable, flexible and positive attitude.
• Physically fit to perform demanding cleaning work across multiple locations.
• Resident of the Isle of Wight and able to travel to Merstone each working day.
