Estates & Facilities Management Trainer

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Estates & Facilities Management (EFM) Trainer to join the Training & Development team at Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. The role will support the delivery of high‑quality, safe services by equipping the EFM workforce with the knowledge and confidence they need.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver classroom‑based and practical training programmes for the Estates & Facilities Management team.
• Support new‑starter induction journeys and provide follow‑up observations to ensure competence.
• Assess workplace competence against established procedures and standards.
• Contribute to the Trust’s Learning & Development strategy under the guidance of the EFM Training & Development Manager.
• Maintain training records and help develop continuous improvement plans for the workforce.

Required profile

• Passion for developing people and helping others succeed.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in delivering training in a workplace setting, preferably within estates or facilities management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Training & Development Manager and other stakeholders.
