About the role
The school is seeking an Estates Manager to lead and coordinate all estate functions across its campus. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations, maintaining health and safety standards, and representing the school at all levels.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive estate management strategy, working with internal teams and external contractors.
- Lead and supervise capital and refurbishment projects across buildings, grounds and facilities.
- Manage supplier agreements and service level contracts, monitor budgets and control expenditure.
- Oversee site security, health and safety compliance and asset life‑cycle reporting.
- Provide line‑management for a small support staff and guide teams to deliver high‑quality operational performance.
Required profile
- Professional qualification in estate management or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in estates or facilities management within a complex environment; experience in the education sector is advantageous.
- Strong project‑management abilities and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving capabilities.
