About the role
Cumberland Council is seeking an Estates Surveyor to join its Corporate Assets property team on a hybrid basis. You will manage a high‑value commercial and operational portfolio worth £570 million, supporting major development and transformation projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead statutory Red Book valuations, acquisitions, disposals and rent reviews.
- Deliver asset management across a £570 million commercial and operational property portfolio.
- Support major commercial development and transformation projects.
Required profile
- Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) status preferred or near APC completion.
- RICS Registered Valuer status is a strong advantage.
- Experience in commercial property asset management, valuation and disposal.
- Full UK driving licence for site inspections.
