Estimating Manager – Listed Buildings & Churches

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead cost estimation for listed buildings and churches across London. The role combines technical estimating work with team leadership, offering hybrid working from our Isleworth office.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate, value‑engineered cost estimates for complex heritage and civil engineering projects.
• Manage the full tender process from enquiry to contract award, assessing risks and opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and train a small estimating team, ensuring high‑quality output.
• Liaise with senior management, clients, suppliers and operational teams to keep project pipelines on schedule.
• Negotiate terms and support seamless handover to the operations team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an estimator in groundworks, basements or civil engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.
• Based in Isleworth, South West London or within a commutable distance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
