Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Furniture

About the role

We are seeking an Estimator to lead the pricing of high‑end bespoke joinery and furniture projects for residential clients. Based in our Guildford office, you will work closely with designers, architects and production teams to deliver accurate, commercially viable quotations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full estimating cycle from initial enquiry to final quotation for desks, cabinets, panels and other bespoke interior items.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documents to determine scope, materials and quantities.
• Produce detailed take‑offs, bills of quantities and cost breakdowns within tight deadlines.
• Estimate material, labour, manufacturing and installation costs.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain specialist material pricing.
• Provide technical support, answer client queries and maintain strong relationships throughout the process.
• Support project hand‑over and monitor costs through to completion.

Required profile

• Proven estimating experience in joinery, bespoke interior products, furniture or a closely related sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of industry processes, materials and cost structures.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and work both independently and as part of a team.
