Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Interiors

About the role

We are looking for an Estimator with a joinery or interiors background to join a family‑run specialist woodworking manufacturer in Morley, Leeds. The role involves taking ownership of pricing bespoke projects from initial enquiry through to variations and final account, working closely with production, project management and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and quotations for bespoke joinery and woodworking projects.
• Interpret client drawings, specifications and design information.
• Calculate material quantities, labour requirements and supplier costs.
• Price machine‑shop, bench joinery, finishing and polishing hours.
• Manage variations, additional works and maintain commercial project records.
• Prepare and agree final accounts at project completion.
• Liaise with clients, architects, designers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Collaborate closely with production, project management and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Experience as an estimator in joinery, woodworking, furniture, shopfitting or fit‑out.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of materials, labour, manufacturing methods and supplier costs.
• Commercial awareness with experience pricing variations or final accounts.
• Confident communication with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Desire to work in a small, family‑run specialist manufacturer.
